Autumn lights in French Alps.

So simple, yet so absolutely stunning. It may not be the most original picture taken, but the very same simplicity makes you feel you are right there on the spot. No fancy effects, no distracting bells and whistles; just the magnificent beauty that nature has to offer.
There's a beautiful contrast between light and dark, and the photo is taken just at the right place to capture the bright colors whilst maintaining the dark casting shadows.
The slight haze covering the background mountains makes you easily focus on the central hill, making the photo one soothing ecperience to look at.

A perfect example of how simple (but not easy to capture!) beauty can be.
